Reverse X Reverse is the newest game from Desunoya, the studio behind Tobari and the Night of the Curious Moon. This puzzle platformer features two characters, Code and Rithm, who explore a virtual world and tackle 81 challenging levels. Developed by Desunoya and published by Sekai Project, the game launched on May 10th, 2015, for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows. The story begins when a pale light appears in the night sky, sending a mysterious message to a chosen few. Everything began with a small event under a curious moon. The following day, Tobari arrived at school before anyone else to help prepare for the cultural festival.

Speaking from my own experience, I’ve really enjoyed playing this game every day, and I think you might like it too. Give it a try on PC, play for a bit, and see how much fun it is. In the game, your main goal is to collect ‘Discs’ and reach the final ‘Big Discs’ at the end of each level within 300 seconds. Gathering these Discs matters because they unlock new paths called ‘BugFields’ that help you move forward. If you miss any, the BugField stays closed, and a wall will block your way.
At first glance, this game might look like one of those frustrating ‘rage’ games, but don’t worry—the puzzles are actually manageable. I’m not great at platformers myself, but I found the levels are definitely beatable if you have some patience and are willing to try a few times. You’ll need some platformer skills and puzzle-solving know-how, but nothing too extreme. Overall, this game might not be for everyone, especially if you don’t like puzzles or platformers. Personally, I usually avoid puzzle games, but Reverse x Reverse really grabbed my attention. I even got a bit hooked, probably thanks to the Steam leaderboards and the fun gameplay.
